Honda North American Indirect Procurement is pleased to present Henry Filters, Division of Barnes International, Inc. with the Sustainability  Award.

This award recognizes suppliers that have strong initiatives in place that drive corporate responsibility through social, economic or environmental sustainability.

Henry Filters has shown their commitment to energy and greenhouse emission reductions as well as their natural resource management & waste reduction initiatives. The addition of power monitoring system allowed Honda to be able to monitor the coolant value automatically which in turn reduced usage and prolonged the life of the coolant. Henry Filters has also added valves that automatically turn on and off flushing to certain troughs. The addition of the valves has enabled Honda to reduce coolant flow used for flushing, which reduces overall electric usage. The Henry Filters team is easy to work with, flexible, and provide great communication throughout the project.
